    Default Caller ID issues

    Hi,
I stored my contacts in the format like this +886-932-***-***
But when somebody calls me and he was on my contact.
The caller id here in Taiwan mostly are 0932-***-***, therefor his name won't show up on my iphone instead of is the number 0932-***-*** unless I change the number in this contact to the format like this 0932-***-***.
Can somebody solve or happen to know the way to solve it?
    thanks

Sure, either wait for the iPhone to be released for your area or change your numbers

I'm assuming 886 is like a country code?

Try turning Internation Assist off (In Preferences > Phone)... I really have no idea what that does, but it might help..

"International Assist automatically adds the correct prefix to US numbers when dialing from abroad."

I'm having the same problem as the other guys.

I don't have International Assist in my phone preferences, is it due to I unlocked the iPhone with iPhoneSimFree software?

How can I have international assist again?

have resolved the problem of how to get caller id...
it is a bug in the phone which will likely be fixed in the future by apple
today there is a workaround which requires downloading a file and presto it works. I founds the solution and it is explained at:
