How long should it take for INdependence to return from jail during activating?

It's been on the returning to jail part for awhile now. like 5 minutes or so? and i know i was suppose to force shut down itunes helper and i did, but it opened itunes somewhere inbetween breaking jail and returning to jail.

please help me out

i'll add that when it popped up itunes it showed me that i was in recovery mode, basically step one. should i just do a recovery and start over again?
