Contacts on SIM Card

So I got my phone working and unlocked. The only problem is none of my contacts show up when I try and look at them under my phone. Is there something that I need to do to get them to show up? Can I take them out and put them in iTunes or something? and then transfer back.

i have to admit that i have not done a lot of digging into this with the iphone, but i am not aware of it supporting SIM-stored contacts...anyone else played with this?

you can always use a SIM reader and some aftermarket software to read the contact info off of your SIM and store onto your computer...but that is a completely different way to go about it.

try using isync for mac. put sim card back into old phone, and connect via cable or bluetooth. not all phones are supported however. mine wasn't. had to do it one by one.
