Putting NES Roms onto the iPhone
Is there a way to add the NES ROMs onto the iPhone without jailbreaking? Can I just drag and drop through sstp if I am ssh'd into my phone?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks..

it might be possible, but how do you plan to play the ROMs without jailbreaking and adding and NES app?

it is definitely possible; i do it to my iphone. make sure you have bsd subsystem and openssh installed onto your iphone. then use an app such as fugu (http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/) to access the media folder on the iphone. btw, the username is "root", and the password is "dottie" (no quotes on either of them). put all roms in the media/roms/nes folder

What I use is Cyberduck . . . I SFTP file transfer all of my roms by dragging and dropping them in

Once you're connected to Fugu or Cyberduck, go to: var/root/Media
Create a new folder inside Media and name it ROMs.
Open the ROMs folder and create another folder called NES
Open NES
Drag the roms here (NES folder)
Disconnect connection
Restart the phone
Have fun!Last edited by dinky; 09-17-2007 at 11:18 AM.

OK look. I am about to freaking scream. I have tried for 2 weeks to find roms online. Every google search to free roms sends me to a site that wants me to vote 3 times, click my heels, say a chant, and bark at the friggin moon.
Give me a straight answer to where I can go and get a flipping rom, just ONE rom..... that's all I want. Just super mario would be fine.
