after unlocking iphone it went back to lock on its own

Ok so I used the wiki and unlocked the iphone exactly the way it was shown - everything worked fine - I could make calls receive calls and it was a great day indeed - then suddenly after a few hours - it stopped working - it just said to reconnect to itunes to re activate phone cause it was an invalid sim.

Since then I restored phone and activated it and voila it started working again without the need to use unlock.app or any other app.

Im confused as to what is happening is this going to keep happening - how do I stop it and whats the issue

You did put the lockdownd file in, right?

yes I did - I did the entire process again and now its working fine - maybe something was not working right and doing it again got it to work right
