transferring photos from laptop to iphone ??
is there a way to transfer my photos from my laptop to my iphone without using iphoto or itunes sync ?? i used to be able to drag and drop into a folder with my ipod but iphone ?? how do i do it ??

Drag into usr/root/media/DCIM/100APPLE

use ssh and transmit.app on the mac

OK, I found the folder, on iphonebrowser it's
[root]/var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE
I put the image in teh folder but the iphone will not see it. How do I create the thumbnail so the iphone can see the image?

You could install mobile finder and mobile preview and ssh in. That a good way to do it. Nice thing about this is they don't snow up in the photo app. Kinda sucks until mobile preview gets better, but it will.

how come my comp won't let me drag the wallpapers into the folder? help
