iTunes Not Syncing

So when I plug my iPhone in now, iPhoto opens up and shows the pictures i've taken on my phone, but iTunes does nothing in terms of syncing. Can someone help me out?

note: i've tried the following

- deleting photos from iphone
- closing iphoto while plugging in the iphone
- checking system profiler - it does show an

Have you restarted? Have you launched iTunes manually?

Do a full restore and reinstall iTunes.

I have the same problem.
I hesitate to do a full restore since itunes give me this message:
"Iphone can not use itunes because the imei number is incorrect".
If I do a full restore is Itunes would recognize the phone and restore the settings? Or itunes will stay unusable with the phone in frozen state?
By the way it seems that bluetooth have problems too!
