    Default New iPhone User!

    Hey I just bought an iPhone and I'm looking to unlock it so I was wondering is the process: Activate > Jail Breaking > Unlocking?

    Unlocking is tough right now - only method out is hardware unlock, which requires you taking apart your iPhone and its pretty involved... I'd recommend you wait until this coming week when the software unlock will be available.

    I'll be in the same situation in about a weeks time when my friend returns from the US with my new 8Gb iPhone (got it just after the price drop )

    I'm hoping to god that the unlock is FINALLY released.......but we can only wait and see i suppose!
