Help asap, phone wont restore

Ok, this most likely has been answered in another thread but i have searched for about an hour so im hoping someone can help.
i was using the new ifuntastic and didnt like some of the stuff i did, so i figured itd be easier just to restore my phone, so i did. itunes gave me an error message (i dont remember what one) and now my phone is stuck on "please connect to itunes"
BUT itunes doesnt find my phone nor when i reset my phone does it do anything but go back to the same screen.

Reboot your comp and iPhone then try again, may also want to try another USB port.

When you exited iFuntastic, did you re-jail your iphone? If not, then you need to start up ifuntastic again and try to do so...the iphone will not play nice with itunes when unjailed.

eh i tried everything, i ended up having to go to a friends and use his windoze computer to restore it then i came home and my macbook recognized it
