getting specific icons for background?

hi everybody, i've been reading the site for a few months now, but finally decided to register. with what i've read on here already i was able to mod my iphone with the installer app in addition to adding custom ringtones. i have a PPC mac at the moment so things seem to be a bit difficult for us.

my question is, can you mod the home screen with a PPC mac? i don't recall seeing a thread on this. also, there are some fine examples that you guys have created in the download section, but i prefer some icons to others. i was wondering where you guys get your icons from? or if i gave someone the pictures of the icons i was looking for in the download section, would you be able to create a theme for me?

you must use iphuc and then use the command line to install images.
