issue or user error on uk phone after 1.1.3 upgrade

hi all

i have used ziphone to jailbreak and activate a uk phone restored to 1.1.3.

it was working ok on a 1.1.2 jailbroken and using an O2 business sim.

no running 1.1.3, but no network (under general settings - network not available)

modem firm = 4.3.13_g
bootloader = 4.6 (wierd as i have a week 42 phone).


please tell me how to get phone service working

All You tube and wireless ok.

just to add all i did was activate and jailbreak.

do i need to do an unlock?

I did not need to do that before?

Also I thought the ziphone downgraded the baseband back to 4.2.13

is that not the case

yes, do the unlock as well
and yes, this was not required before...
it will downgrade the baseband as well
