Well I have ran installipb.pl correctly and everything in terminal appears to be ok just like in the wiki.
But for some reason not a single part of the theme changes. It remains stock.

Has anybody had this problem??? I am running an Intel Mac

Try rebooting your phone. Also, look for any indications of files not uploading in the script as it runs. does it run quickly or slow? if you provide more details, it will be easier to troubleshoot.

edit: wait, are you running this app on the phone terminal or on your mac? haha. also, did you jailbreak it first? if not, it will dump the files into the public directory of the phone vs. from the root.

Yes i jailbroke it, and I am running it on the Mac terminal.
The overall process went quickly and I saw no signs of files not being uploaded etc..

This is why I am completely lost!!!

connect with iphoneinterface
type ls to list the contents of the directory. do you see files called icon.png and icon-Photo.png, etc?

if you see icon.png in the first directory, that means that jailbreak did not work. if you don't see it...try manually putting in 1 or 2 icon.png's into the .app folders and rebooting your phone. i have also found that locking, unlocking and playing with iphoneinterface off and on work with different levels of success....keep plugging away at it...restart from the beginning and try again, going through each step carefully...persistance

Yes i do see thos files in the main directory when I run "ls"
So should I just keep doing it until i dont seem them there?

Ok I have tried upwards of 10 times, and nothing!!!

IS my phone just not skinnable. This makes no sense...

??? help anyone????
