1) did you already connect via SSH and use the "chmod +x *" command for the /Applications/NES.app folder?
2) try doing the same for the /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES folder (for your ROMs)
Give us more details and we can help more if these 2 don't do it for yaBlack 16GB 3G iPhone w/bestskinever

yep what he said and if you are not sure about the chmod thing, then thru scp just right click the folder and go to properties and change the permission to read 0777 same with the contents in the folder

cyberduck. right click the nes folder select something like "get info" or "properties". there should be a place to set permissions set them to 775, click apply to all enclosed items or wtvr the equivalent option is there. restart phone
08-22-2007, 10:49 PM #6
so what should i set it to? those are 2 different answers 775 and 0777 are way different or does it not really count the 0 as a "real number" <-only use for trig
08-22-2007, 10:56 PM #7
it already has the permission set at 755
08-22-2007, 10:56 PM #8
so all the boxes checked minus write for group and world.
the folder and all the roms need to be set to this (777 or 0777 however you want to write it will work as well)
08-22-2007, 10:57 PM #9
and there is no way that i can see to change the permission #

yes there is. sigh, i didnt want to have to download cyberduck but here i go. once i get it download you're answer will be coming in about 10 seconds
cyberduck. sigh. right click on the NES folder in /var/root/media/ROMs/
check all those boxes including "Apply changes recursively"
wait while it does its thing
