Sync iPhone across PC/Mac Network?
I have a PC that houses all of my music - it has a much bigger hard drive than my MacBook.
I want to sync music from that to my iPhone while using my MacBook - without having to copy the files from the PC to my MacBook.
What do I have to do to accomplish this? Will iTunes add music to the library from a drive I've formed an SMB connection with?[r a y n e]

Not yet. I'm still at work so I was just trying to get a feel for if anyone else had a similar experience or was an expert at networking and yadda yadda yadda.
Well, it works, but now I'm having another problem -
Some of the files on this network drive, which is accessed using Windows File Sharing (SMB) won't load into iTunes. The same ones that won't load give an error when I try to copy them to my desktop "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items".
Anyone know of a fix for this? It's only SOME of the folders under the shared folder.Last edited by Rayne; 08-21-2007 at 10:29 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
