iphone is not recognized on desktop, itunes

I just got an Unlocked iPhone i have came across a few problems.

It wont sync with my Itunes (7.5)

I do not have usb 2.0, i only have usb 1, but i have read previous threads and other people could get their unlocked iphones to sync fine, even using usb 1.

anyone else have this problem?

Have you rebooted itunes or your computer??
Have you done a soft reset on your phone ??
Have you checked the connection to your phone from the computer??

Try these methods to see if any of them work... Soft reset on the phone hold the power & home button for 10 seconds (Count to 10 from the time u hold them) then let go.... the phone should reboot on its own... if it dont press the power button it should come on then. if it doesnt follow the holding power & home button method again until...
