Can't sync after iPhuc-ing

Well, I have no problems installing ringtones. I can get back in without re-jailbreaking, everything is great.

UNTIL...I try to sync with iTunes. It recognises my phone, it even says that it's syncing, but then stops after about 10-15 seconds, saying sync is complete but nothing is sync'd. I still don't even have that "Add to Gallery" button in my photos app.

After adding my ringtones, I did replace Services.plist (that I downloaded from MMi) into cd /System/Library/Lockdown.

Still no dice. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Also, after an attempted Sync, I have to re-Jailbreak the phone to add any more ringtones.

FYI: I'm using OS X 10.4.10 on a G4 Powerbook (the last model they made prior to the MBP)

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Wait... there is a PPC version of jailbreak???? WTF was I?

Seriously, you are using jailbreak on a PPC Mac.

As Cash has already suggested restart and with jailbreak, yes you have to load the 'jailed' Services.plist file whenever you want to sync with iTunes and obviously the next time you want to upload files to it, you have to load the 'jailbreaked' (what the heck kind of word is that? perhaps 'jailed') Services.plist file.

Cash, I restarted after replacing Services.plist and, viola! was able to sync. Such a simple step, I can't believe I never tried it.

Thanks for the help!

When in doubt, reboot.
