Just Made Me An iBrick! help please?

hi guys,
im a noob, so please go easy on me! i did a search before posting!

basically imported two iphones from the states to london uk, one for me one for my girlfriend.

used i activator to turn them into 'ipods' on my macbook.

the first one activated without a glitch!

second one crashed on returning to jail!
now the phone doesnt really respond to anything. when connected to a mac or pc, itunes cant restore it (but see it) and iactivator cannot connect to it!

ive tried resetting, but it appears to hang at the apple boot screen.

can anyone please reccomend me anyway of sorting it out, as the apple stores in london arent prepared to touch it.

did you plug in the phone, the switch it to restore mode, then run itunes?

i called applecare and theyve said theyll cover it!
so i guess im sorted then!

have to go to regent st store today for them to order me a swap!

Im having the same problem however i live in the middle east and the apple center here does not do any exchanges or swaps until iphone is released here. Can i do anything ?

Restart your computer, put it in restore mode, pull up itunes, then plug it in.

Just to clarify for others as well, when people say put it in restore mode, that means hold the power and the home key for about 20-25 seconds, the phone will turn off (keep holding it) then it will turn on with the apple logo showing it (keep holding) then it will turn off again (keep holding) then you will get a yellow triangle with a message saying to reconnect it to itunes for a restore

I can verify this works. I accidentally deleted every file off my iPhone while trying to remove the mobile terminal app. My phone wouldn't do anything. My last resort was to try recovery mode and it did work. I'm typing this right now from a hotel 400 miles from home on my phone. Good luck.
