Transition from ifuntastic, need help

Well im giving up on ifuntastic, it just dosen't work with leopard on my computer. I want to go the fun route of jailbreaking, using apptap, whatever i need to to get things running again.
Basically I just want to modify icons, add ringtones and chance the icons around.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction.

I'm currently running a macbook pro with leopard, iphone 1.0.2 and itunes 7.4.2

try using either Fugu or Cyberduck.
you can download both from this thread: http://modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Usi..._X_with_iPhone

you can use the app customize to rearange icons (I would download version 1.13 from here http://code.google.com/p/customize/downloads/list) you will have to manuelly place this in the aplication file.

ok, so i am looking to re-virginize my phone. I tried installing apptap, if went fine but there is no icon on my phone? i want to get rid of ifuntastic. Whats the best way to restore my phone?

restore your iphone and choose "set up as new iphone"

I'm just curious, is it as simple as doing that? Is there anything else out of the ordinary involved in doing this?
