Upgrading to 1.1.1

I have searched the forum but i havent got the reliable info and didnt understand much of whats going..

I have unlocked my Iphone using the method on the guide which is (IUnlock) using CyberDuck.. My current modem firmware is 03.12.08_G..

What is the next step to update to 1.1.1???

I am also looking to do this but was wondering-when updating will it now update to 1.1.2 which has just come out or will it still only update to 1.1.1?
