itunes wont import videos

i cant get my videos on itunes, or any videos at all, i was running 7.4 and could not get it working and now ive upgraded to 7.5 and still nothing.
ive tryed all different types of files types, so i know i am trying to import the correct file type (please no help with file types or convertors)
ive tried "import" and ive tried "add to libary", both with no luck.
if any one can help me i would be stoked,

Are you running the latest version of Quicktime? See if there's a Quicktime update and install that.

yeah im running all the latest updates,
im thinking it must be something to do with itunes,i jst cant figure it out, im sure its something simple,i know they are the right video files.thats for sure

what is th file format ur tryna puit into itunes????? Are the files corrupt???

ok so I sorted it. I uninstalled iTunes and QuickTime and started from scratch. now I can save as in QuickTime and import item into iTunes and player perfectly on my iPhone. at last!!! thanks to the dudes that posted help.
