iFuntastic PPC workaround?
So, i have access to an Intel Mac at work, but I sync to my PPC G5 at home.
Does anyone know, if I Mod my ringtones on the Intel machine, and then continue to use my PPC as my synced machine am I asking for trouble?
Any input would be appreciated. I am terrified of F#@&ing up my iPhone.

*should be fine as lons as you put the services.plist on when you're done modding

How about adding a question mark to the original subject line. I came into the thread thinking that there was a work around to using the application on PPC mac.

no, after you are done modding on the intel box put the services.plist file back on, it is noted in every intel osx guide in our wiki (I believe)

You should put it back on though. Perfect example of no immediate consequences making you think there's nothing wrong.

There is no universal binary at this point, so it does not yet work on a PPC system.

...I never use Windoze!
Bummer. Seems I'm gonna be in a dead loop for easy mods since:
1. iFuntastic has no PPC version (Dual G5 1.8GHz here)
2. iphoneinterface is said to be broken with iPhone 1.0.1 update.
3. I'm gonna do the iPhone 1.0.1 update.
Oh well, I've been running it stock since forever anyway (1 month = forever, in geek-time?)
I can wait a 'little' longer...sigh...
BTW- nice site, thanks for it!!!Last edited by MacTower; 08-02-2007 at 12:51 AM.
