Need help pwning iTouch / NOR Patching Failed
Hey,
I'm trying to pwn my iPod Touch, 16gig, system 1.1.1. I followed the instructions on http://www.modmyi.com/wiki/index.php...e_Guide_PWN_It EXACTLY. I am using a iMac G5 / MacOsx 10.4.11 and have iTunes 7.6.1 (9).
I:
-Put my iPod into recovery mode
-Launched PwnageTool 1.1
-Clicked browse .ipsw and chose iPod1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw (MD5: 0ed3435b4ead9aa5606ca0af66eedd90)
-Waited for it to load the ipsw...
-Clicked iPwner
-Waited
-Noticed it sayd NOR Patching failed, and Something flashing failed.
Then it rebooted, and it still had all my old stuff on it.
What did I do wrong?
Edit: ARG! Just noticed I posted this in the wrong section. I'd appreciate it if it could be moved. Sorry!Last edited by Moptop650; 04-22-2008 at 05:56 PM.

Oh ok, thanks alot, that worked

One more thing - On my 1.1.1 I remember doing
To make more room for applications. But I did this on 1.1.4, then rebooted, and it undid my changes?! I vaguely remember having to change an executable flag on the media partition, but don't remember how... Any tips?Code:cd / cp Applications /var/root/Applications ls /var/root/Applications Applications
EDIT: NEVERMIND!Last edited by Moptop650; 04-23-2008 at 04:00 PM.

Yeah, I kind of merged the old system and the new one.
