seczone backup help required
I'm attempting to backup the seczone...and the terminal is stuck here;
# launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
No such process
# ./norz seczone.backup 0x3FA000 0x2000
geohot's nor dumper
all your norz are belong to us
super fast...just the way i like it
Dumping: A03FA000-A03FC000
Waiting for data...
Any ideas?

AAaaahhh. I saw this line in another tut and thought about using it. I'll try this tonight, thanks Mixi.
(FYI: The line 'launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist' comes from Poetic's tut (http://modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Dow...nd_OS_X_iPhone). Was that a typo?)

I'm stuck here too...tried both lines - with the revised entry :
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
I get 'no such process'
with the first I get stuck at 'waiting for data'
Help! PLease.

I'm stuck at the same place as well. I'm trying to virginize an unlocked 1.0.2 iPhone, using the script (and following directions) in the Virginize Pack v0.4 (ModMyI.com | iPhone forums, iPhone hacks, iPhone unlock - Downloads - Virginize Pack v0.4). I opened up the script, and it's using "load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist", and I do see that the CommCenter is successfully stopped...
But I'm hanging on Waiting for data...
So if anyone's got an answer, I'd like to see it as well.Would you like to start the backup process? (yes/no)
yes

'scuse the rapid re-post, but when I stepped through things manually (instructions at Howto iPhone 1.0.2 unlocked to 1.1.1 unlocked (Mac) [Archive] - iPhone Alley Forums) rather than using the script, everything went as predicted. So, for anyone looking to a solution on this hangup while virginizing a 1.0.2 iPhone, check out Howto iPhone 1.0.2 unlocked to 1.1.1 unlocked (Mac) [Archive] - iPhone Alley ForumsLast edited by Kaylo_N; 05-19-2008 at 09:42 PM.
