If you're rich and can afford to brick your phone without any consequences, go for it, let us know what happens. Otherwise, just wait for the Dev Team to come up with a fix.

if there was a patfix then wouldnt it already be out. i am getting a little impatient since the 1.1.1 unlock is out and there are RUMORS of 1.1.2 you know.

Key word is patience. These things aren't quick fixes by any means. Personally, I'd love to go home right now and try this method, but damn, I just can't risk it. This is my primary phone.
