Solution: How to have Retro Apple on Pwnage Tool
OK I finally managed to figure out how to get the Apple on there. You need the applelogo.img2 file from chron-dev (I'm not linking because its not the right thing to do). Once you do right click on Pwnage tool then show package contents. Navigate to the Resources then the version number you want to patch. Then rename logo.img2 to logo_old.img2 then rename applelogo.img2 to logo.img2. Once you do just create a custom firmware (on the version number you changed) and you are good to go with the Retro Apple logo!!!!

theoretically, couldn't this work with any given image? Just need to figure out how to convert it to a .img2 file. pwnage needs to be released for Windows so I can start playing with this already!

Seems as though it may be a little easier than I originally thought.

Looks like they are adding the ability to add any image you would like to boot, and restore? Maybe I'm wrong? The browse buttons could just be to browse for the .img2 files. Hopefully, that's not the case though. We're having to wait a lot longer for the Window's version, and I think we should have this ability

I Pwned mine the other day only to reboot to that awful pineapple. I had to Restore, re-jailbreak and redo everything I've done. Now I have to do this again.

Quick question, once I have done this and repwned my iphone do I have to restore again or can I just change the logo and keep the IPSW which is already on my phone?
Dont really want to go through a full restore again for the sake of a logo.
EDIT: Dont worry answered my own question, no restore required

Using stock apple image?
hey i was wondering how you would go about using just the stock apple boot image that you see everytime you boot the iphone. im not sure if there is somthing in the osx version of the pwnagetool that lets you do this, im just asking before i try this out. Any info at all is deffinately appreciated.
thanks in advance!
