Make calls from Outlook

Wondering if anyone has heard of a project that would phone numbers found in Outlook (or any other app i suppose) to initiate a call on the iphone?

Would be nice to start a call buy clicking on a contact in outlook and choosing 'Call by iPhone'

Hmm, I would think the best way to accomplish this would be to maybe use grandcentral etc which I believe has an outlook plugin and then initiate the call there, which will then call your phone. You would have to be in USA/Canada for that to work well for you.
