Thread: How does ProTube convert video to mp3?

Does it convert the video on a website, then Protube download the mp3? Or Protube download the video, then convert it to mp3 on the iPhone?

    That's a good question. Just for kicks I'm curious too.

    Edit: Well looks like I found out for myself. Just went to download an audio file from it and it got stuck a little because of my slow Verizon 3G, and it said something along the lines of "converting to mp3, may take a while" before it started downloading. So it converts it first then downloads it to your phone.
