    Default How to program apps
I was wondering if anyone knows of a free instructional video that can get one started on making app for the iPhone/iPad/iPod! I don't know how to program so I need one that also teaches objective C programing for beginners. I have looked for torrents, but only find ones that expect that you already know objective C, C++, or java. Any help would be nice... Thanx!

None... But I am in the process of learning objective c by book, and am more of a visual learner.

    Excellent!
    You're on the right track-
unfortunately, the primary skills you need to develop, you aren't going to get from video as well as you will from a book. You need to learn how to read code, and write code.

You're really better off taking some time to understand Objective C first- and then trying to make IOS apps once you have a basic idea of how a program should work and what parts are needed, and what makes it tick. You'll have a better feel for the underlying logic, trust me.

This is going to be a challenge, my friend
    Good luck, and happy hacking.

I don't know if you'd want Objective-C as your first language. You could learn some of C even though it's (mostly) dead now. It's just a good idea to at least learn the basics or some of the syntax, because a lot of it is similar to Objective-C.

    It isn't.

ON: you'll also have to change your operating system :-) No SDK and no toolchain for Windows, if it comes to iOS development. For the official way, you have to have SnowLeopard, for the unpfficial way, Linux is enough.
