iphone is currently stuck in recovery after attempting to dgrade from ios4 to 3.1.3. cannot kick out of recovery with recboot.

when i press exit recovery, it says file not found - continue or stop. if i continue, it doesnt do it

Hello all,

i need help, i have an iphone 3g, i updated to 4.2, and bb 6.15, but sudentlly i after like 2 days no problem, it went no service, i figure out it was the carrier <.<, but was to late, i tried to restore to do the process again, also becuz i intalled iprotect and it has an error in wich i didnt saw the keyboard to i culd not enter most apps... so after the restore, itunes gave me an error, i dont remember 1050, or smt, i tho was normal, so i continued to redsnow 9.6b4, is ended well, but after that, when it rebot, is with the itunes and the cable icon, i tried recboot, it also dont work, and even itunes dont recognize it for me to re-restore.....
any 1 know please idk what els to do, ty .

same thing happened to me. I finally found help here on this site. You need to restore to a custom firmware iOS 4.1.

the problem to put 4.1 os is that i cant make itunes to recognize the iphone, it is in recovery mode all the time, mi comp generates error when i plug the iphone, i did recboots no luck, also i copy the lubxxx smt into wind/sys32/drivers no luck, reinstaled itunes no luck, and now it recognize like 2 iphone in recovery mode with drivers problems in device admin (right click pc)admin /admin devices.......for me to have a chance to put another firmware i need it to be recognized by the pc/ithunes, but nothing.
