NetMage: in regards to setting permissions I use an app called iPhone PC Suite by NetDragon and it allows for the setting of permissions. Ive tried to upload it to the download sectiong many times but it never goes through. I dont know why?

Not at the moment - I may release something interim and then wait to see what iTunes 7.7 with firmware 2.0 brings...

FYI, a quick test with iTunes 7.7 and firmware 1.1.3 seems to indicate that iPhoneBrowser will still work with the upgraded iTunes.

While there may be some issues with using BossTool (or some other software) to increase Applications space, it does work with 2.0 according to other posts I've seen.

1stly, Thank you for this. I use a Mac at home, wifi and all, but at work, no wifi, no mac, so this can be a lifesave at times.
I am using it right now. Phone is 1st gen on f-ware 2.0. Seems to work fine, but interestingly, the alias for applications that should be in the root directory does not show up. They are all there in private/stash/applications.cFLNUT(varies from phone to phone as I understand).

If iPhoneBrowser says you are not jailbroken, that means you do not have the afc2 service running (i.e. you are not jailbroken in the original meaning
).
Try searching for some threads on afc2 to see how to enable the service. I think (maybe) later versions of ziphone implemented afc2 service creation?
