This would be amazing. I know BluePhoneElite is a very popular app for that, but it's not iPhone compatible.

Ballstyle.. We repeat, we are looking for an application on the PC to interact with iPhone. Not a web site to send free SMS. Most of the countries are not listed there, moreover we need the reply on our mobile rather..

The only way I can do it is by using AT&T's Connection Manager that is used for their laptop data connect plans. I have to take my sim out and stick it into my pcmcia card which sucks so I do not even bother anymore.

I was doing it for a while using sendsms (install from cydia) then using SecureCRT or equivalent so I could access (emulating) the iphone terminal remotely then typing:
sendsms number "message"
worked ok but sendsms took ages to send the message and sometimes failed so I gave it up (after contacting developer who hasn't got back to me) ...i just use irealsms in landscape now but its still slower than typing on pc!
veency *uck a duck I didnt see this in cydia!
ur my hero 461am!
