Help with shell script to copy file to iphone (Mac os x)

So I want a shell script that will move a file from a directory on a mac to a directory on the iphone (the directory will be the same in all cases, unless of course there is no shortcut for ~username, but I assume their may be?).
Basically you can assume it is going to be a jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone, either plugged in or connected via ssh.

What you want is scp.
