New Windows Based File Transfer Program (iPhoneBrowser)!
So, I built a new User Interface for transferring files in windows based on the Manzana dll called iPhoneBrowser.
I built it in Visual Basic Express, took me about 25 hours. I have used it to transfer files back and forth without any issues. You still need to jailbreak before you'll have access to the files.
Features:- GUI based, Drag and Drop support for multiple file upload (no folder drops or new folder creation yet)
- Right-Click Save as for any file
- Automatic preview of text files, png (non-Apple) and jpg files
- Backups of existing files, both manually and automatically, to your local hard drive
- Replace a file with any named file, and it will rename properly (i.e. right click new-mail.caf, select "Replace file", and select your own named aiff file and the program will backup the existing new-mail.caf with a timestamp, upload your aiff as new-mail.caf)
- Delete any file (automatically backs up file before deleting)
INSTALL: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...do=file&id=327
(non-member download link TBD).
EXE'S ONLY: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...do=file&id=326
You will definitely need the .NET libraries. YOU NEED AT LEAST V7.3.1 iTUNES INSTALLED!
Still beta, but let me know if you like it. Let me know what other features you would like. Use at your own risk!

Looks great. I'll give this a try after I re-sync all my files.

I am basically seeing the same thing as 'SilentKilla' with my WinXP rig. I must not have the correct .NET, although Manzana works fine for me...

Crashes instantly when I try to run it.
I tried installing through Setup...worked great until it tried to start the program. Insta-crash!
Even renaming the files from before installing...same thing...just crashes.
Looks nice from screen shots though...

Cannot run this app. Before it does anything I get an error saying it has encountered a problem and needs to close.

For those who couldn't get the program working....I extracted all files into my "phonedmg" folder that has been created for other iPhone apps & per some guides out there. After extraction, I ran the setp.exe file and let it do its thing. Then, go into the "iPhoneBrowser_1_0_0_0" folder that is created and you'll see 3 files (iPhoneBrowser.exe.deploy, iPhoneBrowser.exe.manifest, & Manzana.dll.deploy). Rename the "iPhoneBrowser.exe.deploy" file by taking off the ".deploy" at the end of the filename and then you should be able to double-click that file & it'll open up. I'm not savvy on VB so my only guess is that something isn't right in the setup program and doesn't complete all the way. Hope this helps those of you that couldn't get it up & running

Sorry guys, I posted it late last night and never tested the install program. This is the first time I have used the built in function in VB for packaging. I posted just the executable up here: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...do=file&id=306
