Desktop manger
I would love to have an application that would resemble something like the palm software for the desktop where I can sync my Iphone to and it would transfer my contacts and my calendar events back and forth.
Is there one out there by any chance?

iTunes is nothing like it.
You can not edit contacts, notes, etc. In itunes.
