does anyone know if there is a sms backup program for windows? im planning to upgrade to 1.1.1 but i want to keep all my sms. thanks in advance

itunes syncs up your iphone's sms database everytime you sync..
whenever you upgrade/restore/etc it will ask you to load a backup of your iphone (including ur sms)
if you want your sms.db file for fun, winscp over to /var/root/Library/SMS/sms.db

oh so, i can just upgrade, and then itunes will put everything back on my phone like contacts and sms?

yes dtran everything you put music or something to your iphone itunes automatically backit up, including sms, contacts and settings.

or you could sms d to back up all your sms messages to your email

^ how do you go about to doing that? when i go to smsd, and back up to sms, i type in my email and it says its sent, but when i check its a just a textpad with nothing in there. any help?
