    Hi,
I have an unlocked iphone 1.0.1 firmware version. I am also using Itunes 7.3 (which was the first version to support Iphone).
I do not want to use Itunes 7.4 or up as this will lock my iphone.
I used a software which actually does not require any Itunes to load custom ringtones.
It is called Iphoneringtonemaker. I have windows xp and this iphoneringtonemaker supports windows. It is a software which converts any mp3 file into ringtone file and just transfers it to the iphone connected to computer without using or opening Itunes.
Can your software do this ? If yes, I will start using your software.

Thanks for creating this program, but I had just one question, is there anyway to keep the ringtones in the phone after you sync cause I have to reload the ringtones everytime i add a new song or podcast into my phone.

Default Unchecking the sync ringtones doesn't work
I did uncheck the sync ringtone button, but it still deletes EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Does this happen to anybody else or just me?

I hope the update will come soon

    Hi,

I am getting an invalid operator exception when I try to run the Ringring.exe on my Windows XP machine. Maybe it has something to do with the Manzana.dll that is also included in the Zipped file but the Readme.txt file does not mention the dll file.

I restarted my machine a couple of times and tried running it with and without iTunes also running.

Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input.

Default keep trying with different names
i found if you keep trying different names on the original ring tone sound file it works , for some reason it also doesn't work on all i phones with the same name as it does on others odd hay ... persist and you'll win ... rich down under

    worked 150% for me.

I used .mp4 converted using Itunes.

    To The develper.

PLEASE PLEASE, make this application edit the Ringtone.Plist to Invisible.plist! So everytime we sync we dont have to loose our ringtones!

    pleasee!!

Can't you just uncheck the Sync ringtones option in iTunes? It worked for me when I was on 1.1.1.

good work - but you use iTunes 7.4 and copy iTunesMobileDevice.dll [ CProgram Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin ] on folder RingRing -> RingRing do'nt run.

/// tip: you use file iTunesMobileDevice.dll version 7.3.85.0 [http://www.hacktheiphone.net/downloa...ileDevice.rar] -> RingRing is perfect program for iPhone ringtones
