[Request]iTunes Controller?
I would like to see a program that can control iTunes sorta like TouchPad's "Remote" feature. Instead of just having things like up, down, left, right, enter, F buttons, and number pad... Have buttons for Play, Pause, Stop, Next Track, Volume and possibly a track list and what track is playing. Sort of an iTunes extender... I don't know if this would be possible, but it would be awesome. Maybe even a controller like this for Windows Media Center...
I see this being possible through VNC.
Sorry somehow I posted this in the wrong section. Mod's please move to requests section. Thank you.Last edited by CabooseLoL; 04-22-2008 at 05:29 PM. Reason: oops wrong section -_-

It's called Signal and you can get it here.
It's excellent. I use it all the time.

Yeah I don't really want to buy a program for windows that runs a server from the computer for controls... Not a fan of web apps at all and I think a better, 3rd party app can be made and it can be free. I can't see this being to hard to make, seeing the "Remote" feature in TouchPad Pro.
Thread still needs to be moved. LoL don't know how I managed to post this in this section o.OLast edited by CabooseLoL; 04-23-2008 at 12:31 AM. Reason: ...

there is a better one...Touchpad is a native app to control the mouse AND keyboard, and if yo install Touchpad Media Server, you'll be able to control iTunes, even when it's minimized...Google is your friend

Personally I wouldn't say Toupad Pro is better - just different.
Both are excellent.
Touchpad Pro with Media Server doesn't allow you to choose songs to play or display album art. Signal doesn't allow control of the desktop.
I really like and have registered both and would love to see a combined version.

Mac Free:

just follow the instructions. It's free, no VNC, or LAN or anything like that needed!
You do however need to register @ http://live.wahkiz.com so you can login in when the app asks for it on your phone. Registration is easy Username, password, email and thats it!
