Thread: plutil for windows/Linux (sort of)

  1. #1
Default plutil for windows/Linux (sort of)
I wrote a plutil in Perl so I could convert DisplayOrder.plist and access backup files.

It runs on Windows and should run on Linux.

It doesn't use the OS X plutil arguments but instead takes a single file as input and converts it to the opposite text or binary format and outputs the result under a new name.

Doesn't support all plist types yet.

    Update:
New version 1.1 supports date types, fixes real binary byte order.

This is nifty. Can you make up a quick tutorial on it with screenshots so I can Wiki it? Good utility...
