We all love vista.
but what some of us love even more is putting it on our iPhones as themes.
But after a while it seems boring and bland and it makes your iPhone lag and not many wallpapers look good with it.
Its not spacious too.
Ooo Ooo and when they try and put in the start menu its either a category or a page on the springboard that has lots of unused space.
So, with all that, i decided to Aim low to a more easier target.
Windows XP.
I worked my way into the shell and got all the graphics i needed, and in the end i finished up with a beautiful OT (Operating Theme - smart, ehh?)
that looks half decent.
- Changing wallpapers in the Photo app changes the homescreen, and dosen't affect the lock screen
- The start menu has been changed into a Mobile edition that looks great and mixes with the Lock screen
- Which is a mobile version of the Login Screen of Windows XP.
- Basically every single possible app has an XP Icon. it was hard, but i finally got it.
- I created a Mobile version of Windows Media Centre which uses springjumps to the max but goes great.
Everything works, all the things that you think is just eyecandy actually does something.
I've been working on this theme for a month, and its just now i've decided to let it out to the public so i need to make it... usable.
UPDATE:
I have completed the Logon Screen and have posted a link for download as of now:
