I have spent a bit of time getting the Perfect Storm keyboard into .artwork files to share. check them out if your interested. It is EBL's keyboard with a green glow on the winterboard portion and the iRealSMS has the "stock" letter pops. I attached screenies so go ahead and take a look....

The new version of irealsms that just came out (v2.0.7) has added support for winterboard themes. It is working for me as advertised, so this thread is now useless.

Rename the new icon to iRealSMS.png and put it in the icons folder of your theme.

Yeah just do it as you would with winterboard for any other theme. I attached a basic theme that will change only your irealsms icon to the one shown on the bottom right of the screen shot. I've also got a black background and blue conversation bubble in there if you want to use it. If not then just delete the "Folders" folder inside the "iRealSMSicon.theme" folder.

hm There is an icon in application/irealmsms/ir_icon.jpg - is that the one I am looking for or does it get its icons from somewhere else

nearly all apps use the Icon.png for the springboard icon. I'm looking at the folder and ir_icon.jpg appears to be the same image but icons are PNG files, so I don't know for what the app uses that file. Sounds like you aren't taking our advice though so good luck figuring it out on your own.

Easiest way is to create a folder: Themes/**theme**/Folders/iRealSMS.app

Here you can store all of the modified images/sounds you want to use for iRealSMS. (The originals are contained in the Applications/iRealSMS.app folder)

Any other Winterboard mods - e.g., keyboard, should be inherited from the overriding parent based on prioritization.
