Finally...almost...never...finished...

This is what I've got so far... I didn't want to post until it looked half-way decent. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Also, I can't seem to find how to change to font for my springboard anywhere on the web. I sent roger505 a message because I really like the font that he is using but I don't know the name of it and I don't know where to ssh into the phone. Thanks to anyone who is willing to help!

How does it look???

Added some things from the theme "Liberty Black" --- The phone and calculator mode does not belong to me nor is it included in my package. Changed my phone and calc to blackout

Hmm I noticed a slight decrease in the battery life with this theme. This can be expected with all the widgets using cpu and weather constantly checking itself right or is it just me?

You can specify when weather updates itself in the configureme.js. It is currently set to 35 min. Totally customizable by you.

Calendar does not update itself yet.. Ice is still working on a fix for that.

Clock widget can save resources by disabling the second hand function. See the README file that contains the webpage that the code came from. It explains which file and which line to modify to disable the second hand.

Flounder: It's already cropped for the iPhone

Yeah i have the weather set to update every hour and ill try the second hand thing, its not a major battery drain just something i noticed and was curious about. I usually get like 4 hr 30 min usage now im getting like 4-4 hr and 15 minutes. Not that b of a d for such an awesome theme

Well, thanks.... the other option is not to run an analog clock... I mean the time is on the taskbar. Just disable clock in winterboard and replace with some other useful widget.

A lot of people have commented on my screen looking too cluttered. Well, the widgets you see open the applications I routinely use....so cluttered to me is a relative term, since it looks just like my dashboard on my computer which is the whole purpose of this theme - Realistic OSX for the iPhone.

Yeah i think im going to disable the second hand, cuz i really like the idea of a functioning clock on my home screen

Exactly, to each their own. I do not think it is a cluttered look because, like you, i use the things alot, i always am using the clock, calendar, weather, notes, maps, calculator, etc.. And all the other stuff can go into categories because i dont use them all the time. IMO it makes my iPhone much more organized

Here: You will note that I updated the clockface. I didn't like the super "bold" looking numbers. Update your PSD files with the .pngs below and set drop shadow to 31: I have included one that is pre-sized, and large version for those who want to use a large clock

Wallpaper

Does anyone know how to adjust the size of the bubble on the wallpaper to fit the weather after I have changed the font. The daily "temperature lows" now display below the line. I will attach a screenshot to show an example. I have a Macbook and Photoshop. I can't seem to figure it out. I think I read somewhere that it has something to do with layers but I don't know WTF to do when it comes to photoshop... Thanks!

Troy,

I'm having the same problem and Bear has been trying to figure it out, but we don't know where the problem is.

Seems strange that both cases are related to font changes. I would make adjustments to the top margin, but Marc is telling me that it is sporatic and not constant.

Troy to adjust the size of a widget.

1. Select the widget layer ...look to the right and scroll up or down until you see it. Then click it once.

2. Go to the top menu bar and select: Edit/Transform/Scale

3. You will see a box show up around the widget. Just drag it up or down.

****That to me is not the prefered fix though, becuase the "day" should be centered in the shaded portion of the widget.

Yeah, it seems to be intermittent... Weird. Sometimes I unlock the phone and it all looks good and other times it is off. Thanks for the tip. I probably won't change anything as of now but at least now I know how to do it. "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime." Thanks again. This site and all of the people are always very helpful!!
