unlike some of the old (and tediously stupid) alternatives out there, there is now a program offering legitimate wallpaper replacement on 2.0. from the cydia all packages section > w > winterboard (not mine! just spreading the word.)

SSH in, and they're located in library/themes. the file names are case sensitive (i.e. Wallpaper.png, not wallpaper.png)
