My kids have been on a Naruto kick as of late and they wanted me to do something with the SMS bubbles as they love to text their friends. I came up with these. I'll make some with different characters if there's any interest.

Thanks for the comments. I'll look into all your requests. The problem with including avatars along with the SMS bubble is that your constrained by the default size of the png image which is approximately 43x32 pixels. That doesn't give you much room for the avatar and if you make it as tall as the bubble, the iPhone expands the avatar along with the bubble according to how large the text message is. The results aren't pretty. I've included Calvin & Hobbes plus Dilbert and Dogbert each with four different colored SMS bubbles. Download Here.

lol that's pretty neat..i'm not a naruto fan myself but the concept iz neat..would be kool if you could do other characters..or better yet if u could make an image of say a pic to represent urself..and a default one to represent the other party..just a thought..nice work tho..keep it up

I wonder if someone can do one of the pictures of the actual person. Say you have their picture saved as the caller id pic. When someone sends you a message, its the same picture that shows up assuming you have a pic for them already. This would be one amazing mod. I dont know if its possible or not but just throwing it out there for all the gurus.

Any chance of you making one of Hello Kitty for the iPhone owner? And are these attached to the SMS bubbles, or could I have my own color of bubble with one of your pictures? These are GREAT, by the way. Absolutely genius.

I still wish these had a larger bubble opening and more of a "bubble" look, that is, more circular. Other than that, great job.
