Pacman Lock Screen

After a night of tinkering with a few things ive come up with this pacman lock screen. Ive got a 1.1.4 iPhone and not using Customize.

I have uploaded all of the files except the SpringBoard.strings as its invalid.

Let me know what you think.

Note: the "eat the ghost .." text can be removed or changed to whatever you like by editing the SpringBoard.strings file located in:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/SpringBoard.strings

UPDATE:

please scroll down for a full walkthrough of how to apply the finished lock screen and use the attached .zip file in the post below.

On the following page are the sound clips. To replace the unlock sound simply insert the sound into itunes, convert to .aiff, then rename the extension to .caf and then rename it unlock.caf and replace the unlock.caf in System/Library/Audio/UISounds
remember to back up all originals,
and press thanks!

Would look better without the bar behind the time.

If you have a stock other.artwork file then you can just upload this one to get rid of it. If your other.artwork has been edited at all then you won't want to upload this as it would remove those modifications. I believe the path is system/library/coreservices/uikit.....something like that.

i have found the path for other.artwork and copied over the file youve uploaded but it still looks the same?? restarted the phone twice btw.

what do you need to do to the other.artwork file to take away the square behind the time?

thanks.

Maybe I gave you the wrong one. Try this. Took it straight off of my phone so this one has to be right. I should have said this first but just in case this is for 1.1.3/1.1.4.

To edit it you have to unpack it, then there is a bunch of pngs. For some people it's really hard. There are guides around somewhere.

Wow, I almost mistook you for "reako". Also, you do his "thing" where he ends every post with his username.

ye sure,

download the attached PACMAN.zip file, extract and save to your hard drive. It contains all the files you need.

NOTE: REMEMBER TO BACKUP ALL FILES YOU ARE GOING TO EDIT TO YOUR HARDDRIVE BEFORE REPLACING THEM!

also, im running at 1.1.4, but i believe these steps will work for both 1.1.3 and 1.1.4.

SSH into your phone.

go to:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/

replace the SpringBoard.strings file with the one you downloaded here.

now go to:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/

and replace the FSO_LockIcon.png with the one you have downloaded here.

now go to:

/System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/

and replace bottombarknobgray.png AND bottombarknobgreen.png with the files you have downloaded from here.

now go to:

/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/

and replace the Other.artwork file with the one downloaded here.

now go to:

/Library/Wallpaper/

and copy pacman2.png into this folder.

Restart your phone, select the pacman2.png as your wallpaper, lock your screen and your ready for your first pacman unlock!

If you use summerboard, you can set it so that the wallpaper on the lock screen is different to the wallpaper on the homescreen, therefore having the pacman maze as the wallpaper when the phones locked, but having your favourite wallpaper at your home screen.

I have got the stock files if you need them, just PM me.
