[NEW APP] iScores v1.1 - Live Scores Application

Hi all,

I introduce you iScores v1.0 - Live Scores Application for Apple's iPhone (firmware 1.1.4 or earlier)

ScoresPro is bringing you the iScores Application.
A Real Time service for iPhone devices which delivers Livescore data for 6 different popular sports.

Sports available
Soccer - Tennis - Basetball - Ice Hockey - Basketball - Football (NFL)

Instructions
1. Add Source - Add http://www.scorespro.com/iphone/repo.xml to your Installer sources.
2. Download - You will find "Live Scores" under the "Sports" category.
3. Install - Install "Live Scores".
4. Launch - Tap "iScores" icon.

Tips & tricks
- Double tap in the match view to add the match to your calendar or to enable notifications.
- Swipe from right to left in the match view to go back to the previous view.

- v1.1 Update - Released on April 1st, 2008
Version 1.1 has just been released and it's available for update.

- Missing US matches issue due to time zone difference has been FIXED
- Time zone Auto detection has been applied: Now start time for all matches and all events is being displayed based on user's time zone.

Not sure why SOCCER scores are the first thing you say to describe this app: You wouldn't need live score tracking to track a soccer game: the score changes like once or twice in 2 hours.

I'll stick with sportstap.mobi - that site is legit. I like the concept, but you're far from anything substantial here.

umm because soccer is the greatest sport ever! were i come from at-lest

i mean i know there all wimps buts its better then watching guys the size of tanks run into each other

Thank you all for your feedback.

We have released 6 sports so far and we will include more in the furture if possible.
Next releases will include sound notifications as well.

As the matter of fact soccer is at the moment a very popular sport and you will be surprised when you realize how fast a new goal is updated in the Application.

On the other hand i am sure that this application will also be 100% useless to some people. But some other might need it ;-)

great app. for some reason I'm always getting a connection error everytime the app tries to synchronize data with the server

You might get this error when launching, if your wireless network is busy that moment.
I have get it couple of times in my home's wireless.
Quit and relaunch Application.

A guess.. American?

Just go and play all the American sports you like and become World champion by winning the national league..

Great app!! I like it all. I'm a big soccerfan but I love all the sports. Yes, I even like American Footbal, Baseball, and more..

why are only half of the NCAA tourny games showing up for me?
also only V1.00 was avail for download not v1.1

very cool app tho but i hope the rest of the tourny games being played tonight show up under basketball

great app... neede something like this...

but why doesn't it show all the games under NBA?? its only showing a few from today

and your source on installer only has ver 1.00 and not the 1.1... i think you need to update that

Let me clarify the version issue.
Released and running Version is 1.00 and the only mistake is the title on this thread.

While i am not able to correct this title, i wish a mod can do that and stop confusing you.

Regarding the missing matches the reason is simple but silly as well.

We are located in Europe so does our servers and our data source. The most popular sport in Europe is soccer and our soccer feeds, those in main site but in Application as well, are changing contents once in 24hrs, based in C.E.T. (GMT+1) and then showing matches for the next 24hrs.

This rule has been applied in all scripts and all sports and as it seems, feeds are missing critical info during US matches activity hours, and that varies and depending on users time and time zone.

In any case this "fix" will be included in the next update release.
