    You're testing that on 1.1.4 or 2.2.1?

    Default firmware 2.2.1

Device + Firmware: iPod Touch v2.2.1
Using latest Cydia releases of: lighttpd/PHP/BossPrefs(to turn on/off lighttpd using scripts)

Note: CHM doesn't seem to open using this firmware/script combo

Here's my working lighttpd.conf file for Ipod Touch, Firmware 2.2.1 (attached)
To use: rename .txt to .conf, and drop in /usr/etc/

Note: conf file contents was mostly from another post on this forum, plist from that post is the same one i'm using.

    any ideas?

I found if dtunes and safari download plugin are installed, it's possible to use the download option, then open dtunes and view the video file. a few extra steps, but at least it opens them. kinda pointless though if viewing your own device, due to the fact you're duplicating your own data. The 'play in media player' option gives the same error about not being able to play the file.
