I'd also recommend uninstalling HiddenSettings7 in Cydia. Your hidden settings will thus stay across resprings instead of randomly being reset.

You're much welcome. I believe it worked then.

For your information, even with HiddenSettings7 uninstalled, they're still editable in /var/mobile/Documents/com.apple.springboard.settings/RootSettings.plist

It is. As long as you don't redistribute them. We're off-topic now, by the way.

I managed to find a way that works 100%. You must enable "replace blurs" under hidden settings7->wallpaper. It'll make the unblurred foldericon settings stick after a respring!

I personally skipped the hiddensettings method and used flex2 but it should give you the same result.

Any update by Suby on getting this memory leak fixed? Love the tweak but it's quite annoying.

Any way to stop it so when I open a folder I don't have a giant shadow around the folder background that takes a second to disappear?

There's a flex tweak in the cloud for it. Under springboard->No Ugly Shadow When Icon Is Pressed.

Not exactly what I'm talking about. When I have shadows enabled in iconOmatic and I open a folder, once the folder reaches full size it basically stretches out the shadow from the icon and places it around the folder background and then it disappears after a second. It just looks really bad and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Looks like you have parallax enabled. Go to settings-> General -> accessibility -> reduce motion. Turn that on.

If you bought FolderEnhancer (iOS 7), you can disable just that folder opening animation bit, and leave parallax, etc, on.

    1) this tweak is free, so we should be thankful it even exists

    2) devs are probably busy working on something else. Cut them some slack and be patient.

Thanks, I found that turning on "Fast Open/Close" in Springtomize 3 also fixed the issue.
