Extended Preferences Hack v0.4.9: iPhone Firmware 2.0 Ready

Hey all, there is not much added to it, but I am posting this in advance. It will be up in the downloads section in a little bit, I just added some stuff to the SpringBoard menu so far:

Show iTunes Store - Show/Hide the iTunes Store (2.0 Only)
Show App Store - Show/Hide the App Store (2.0 Only)
Screenshots - Allows you to use Apple's built in screenshot utility anywhere just by holding HOME and flipping the Ring/Silent switcher.

I have loads more findings but as not to put any at risk, a la, the new dock that got removed in 1.1.3+, I will only post these.

I will put this up in the downloads section momentarily...

tested on 1.1.4

the settion for 'calender' is all in CAPS and there is nothing in the section its self
apart from that its all dandi lol

Oh sorry I guess that's a 2.0 only menu, haven't been on 1.1.4 for a while...

how do you install this on 1.1.4 and does it conflict with Catapiller, thanks so much

also another bug, cannot access 'passcode lock'
and ofcourse parental controls (which ofcourse is for 2.0)

FIRST: YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.....

Open winSCP then connect to phone. make sure you are in root

Copy the folder from the "zip" file you downloaded into Applications. reboot iPhone and you will see new menus in settings.

I have no idea what it replaces, however I have had no problems with it and I have been playing with the phone all day. I did not backup anything just went for install.

For those on 1.1.4 and below, use the modified Extended Preferences Hack that I attached below. It will remove the CALENDAR from the main Settings menu (see this post) and it will restore the General so that it looks "stock" (i.e. not rearranged like v0.4.9) and Passcode Lock works again (see this post).

Mr. Chronic sir, is there some way for you to release the Calculator.app from 1.2, so that I could install it on my 1.1.4 iPhone?

Yes, if you're on 1.1.4 and lower (which you probably are)
