FakeClockUp tweak speeds up the animations
I just came across this app FakeClockUp and tried it out. It doesn't actually overclock the processor but speeds up many animations (App Switcher, Opening Apps, Closing Apps, Switching Apps, etc). It even works on my iPad (not mentioned as supported but did it anyway)
it's free.

I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.
