Stuck in Snowbreeze boot logo :(

I have jailbreaked my iphone 3g version 4.1 baseband Ipad with Snowbreeze. Everything went as per tutorial. When I finish with Snowbreeze 2.1 and go into itunes I restore to saved IPSW (created by snowbreeze). My iphone in now stuck with a snowflake boot icon and nothing else happens. What have I done wrong?? Please help.

Snowbreeze 2.1 has big issues for iPhone 3G. If you need to make a custom 4.1 for iPhone 3G use snowbreeze 2.0.2

Try just restoring to a regular 4.1 then. When you get the error 1015 use tiny umbrella to kick out of recovery. You do have 4.1 SHSH right?

No I have not got SHSH file i'm afraid.

Aah, I see. That is probably your issue then. You either need to get a custom 4.2.1 to restore to or downgrade back to 3.1.3 since that firmware doesnt require SHSH for iPhone 3G.

Could you please redirect me to the download site for the custom 4.2.1 baseband ipad. I am getting a bit confused. I though I already had the file ---iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore---
That is the file i was using to create an ISPW file through Sn0wbreeze...

snowbreeze doesnt support 4.2.1 yet. Are you saying you used that file to make a custom one with snowbreeze?

It was either 4.2 or 4.1.
What are my alternatives? If any?

You can either find a custom 4.2.1 made with pwnage tool or you can downgrade to 3.1.3 then update (not restore) to 4.2.1. Tiny umbrella should be able to kick out of recovery if you do it this way. Use regular firmware not custom to do this.

I have no SHSH saved. Am I right in Googling to find another way to downgrade or it is not possible?

You dont need shsh for 3.1.3 for iPhone 3G.

Brilliant Thanks X93car, I downgraded my phone back to 3.1.3. Would you as an expect please give me your opinion on which software I should use to jailbreak and unlock my Iphone 3G 3.1.3/ bb 06.15.00.
